This spring, New York City Ballet will commemorate its unparalleled commitment to new work with the Here/Now Festival, a celebration of choreography commissioned by the Company over the past three decades. The centerpiece of the Festival will be the 2017 Spring Gala. The gala program will include Peter Martins' exuberant Jeu de Cartes, the pas de deux from After the Rain by Tony Award-winner and former NYCB Resident Choreographer Christopher Wheeldon, and an eagerly-awaited world premiere by renowned choreographer Alexei Ratmansky.
The evening will begin at 5:30 PM with an elegant champagne reception hosted by Ruinart, followed by a 7 PM performance, and will conclude with a festive black-tie Supper Ball on the Promenade of the David H. Koch Theater with members of the Company in attendance. We invite you to join us as we celebrate the innovative spirit that has always been a hallmark of New York City Ballet.
