Latke Festival is a large annual tasting event dedicated to celebrating the best latkes and creative interpretations of a potato pancake in New York City.
In its 10th year, we'll be celebrating at the Brooklyn Museum! Join us and our panel of celebrity judges on December 3rd to ring in the holidays, enjoy amazing food and drink, dance to our live DJ, and vote for the Best Latke in all of NYC!

Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE), the world’s largest private source of funding for food allergy research, will hold the 21st Annual Food Allergy Ball on Dec. 3, 2018, at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City. All proceeds will benefit FARE, a national nonprofit organization with the mission of improving the quality of life and the health of individuals with food allergies, and providing them hope through the promise of new treatments.
Food allergies among children have risen dramatically, increasing by 50 percent from 2007-2011, and every 3 minutes, a food allergy reaction sends someone to the emergency room. The need for therapies for life-threatening food allergies is urgent. FARE’s signature Food Allergy Ball has raised more than $12 million in the last five years to advance research and support life-changing initiatives on behalf of the 15 million American with food allergies.
The Winter Wish Gala is our annual flagship fundraising event that brings together over 300 influential leaders from both the public and private sectors to honor distinguished members of our community, celebrate our accomplishments, and raise critical funds for the families we serve.

Africa Is the Future Gala will be held in the United States at the world famous Cipriani wall street on Thursday December 13th 2018. This is a strictly enforce black tie red carpet event hosted by 3x Grammy winning music producer Jerry Wonda. Join us for a night of great music, food and most of all be inspired by our presenters and speakers. Africa is the Future Gala is established to help attract investors from all creeds and background however a keen focus on African investors. Misty Copeland will open the 61st annual Dance Magazine Awards. The evening will honor Ronald K. Brown, Lourdes Lopez (presented by Darren Walker), Crystal Pite, and Michael Trusnovec (presented byPatrick Corbin). A special Leadership Award will be presented to Nigel Redden. Since 1954 the Dance Magazine Awards have recognized outstanding men and women whose contributions have left a lasting impact on dance. This year’s Awards will take place on Monday December 3, 2018 at The Ailey Citigroup Theater at 7:30pm. Tickets start at $50 and can be purchased by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. A new award, The Harkness Promise Award, will shine a light on two emerging young artists for the promise of their artistic work. The inaugural awardees are Raja Feather Kelly and Ephrat “Bounce” Asherie. The Harkness Foundation For Dancereceived proceeds from last year’s Dance Magazine Awards for this grant. The award showcases innovative thinking and how to be an effective artist-citizen who positively impacts dance and the broader community through performance, education, organization, and activism. Proceeds from this year’s Dance Magazine Awards will be applied to next year's Harkness Promise Awards.

The American Friends of Israel Navy SEALs Evening of Tribute is the signature annual fundraiser in support of the warriors, alumni and families of Israel’s elite Shayetet-13 Navy commando unit. The funds raised will support physical and mental rehabilitation, educational programming, college scholarships, career development, financial aid and civic engagement. Please join us in recognizing the bravery and sacrifice of these elite fighters and their families.
