Valentine's day Events 

1. Oscar Wilde 

  Sip on Oscar Wilde’s “50 Shades of Dorian Grey” Signature Cocktail to get in the mood  with Plymouth gin, cherry liquor, Chinese 5 spice and citrus or  opt for their three-course Valentine’s Day prix-fixe dinner.  Dishes include their popular  brocomole appetizer with avocado, broccoli, red onions, cilantro, Thai chilies and served with housemade taro chips; pear salad with wild mushrooms, bacon lardoons, lemon ricotta, caramelized pears, fresh arugula, bacon vinaigrette; house-made oxtail ravioli; shrimp and grits with Irish cheddar; a trio of chocolate covered strawberries, classic NY cheesecake, molten lava cake ; and more. Available at $50 per person.

2. VALENTINE'S MIXOLOGY CLASS

  Interactive “Courtship with Cocktails” Class with Mixologist Johnny Swet  – Celebrate the romantic night with your beloved on Valentine’s Day, while learning the latest tips and tricks to create classic cocktails at Papillon Bistro & Bar. Star Mixologist Johnny Swet (who is behind the cocktail menu at Oscar Wilde, The Skylark, Balthazar and others) will give a hands-on, interactive cocktail class to give you and your partner the skills to recreate sophisticated cocktails at home. Held in the private speakeasy-style Prohibition Room of Papillon, guests will learn three signature cocktails with various themes, including the Prohibition cocktail   La Louisiane   (with Rittenhouse Rye, Benedictine, Antica, Absinthe and Peychaud’s bitters), a   Valentine’s Champagne Cocktail  , and a twist to a   Moscow Mule  .  Light hors d’oeuvres will be served, while you learn to shake, stir and sip like a pro.  For those who also opt to stay for dinner will receive a 15% discount off the dinner check.

3. Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola

SONGS WE LOVE FEATURING VUYO SOTASHE AND BRIANNA THOMAS
February 14 | 7pm & 9:30pm | Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola

Soulful vocalist Brianna Thomas returns to Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola for another seductiveValentine’s Day performance. Thomas is a versatile young performer oozing with personality, and she’s particularly adept when it comes to the blues and ballads, promising a perfect soundtrack for romance. Joining her this year is fellow vocalist Vuyo Sotashe, a recent finalist in the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Vocal Competition, a rising star in New York City, and an in-demand special guest at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Music directing the show is trumpeter and bandleader Riley Mulherkar, who recently directed a version of this Songs We Love program with NEA Jazz Master vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater in The Appel Room. For this more intimate performance, he’s bringing a stellar nine-piece band that will keep things swinging.


Advance Payment Required: $155 per person plus applicable fees (price includes 20% gratuity). Jazz at Lincoln Center members have pre-sale access beginning Tuesday, January 9. Reservations will be available to the general public on Tuesday, January 16, subject to availability.

The Vienna Philharmonic Society will host a Concert and Dinner with The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra on Thursday February 22nd, 2018 at a private club in New York City. 6:30 pm Cocktails Reception, 7:15 pm Performance, and 8:15 pm dinner. This will be a Black Tie evening.
