On Monday, September 16th, Hotel Hendricks, located near Bryant Park in the heart of NYC, celebrated the opening of their lavish new hotel. Hotel Hendricks hosted its opening night with celebrities and influencers mixing and mingling; from Fashion designer/Project Runway veteran Christian Siriano to Rock & Roll royalty Alexandra Richards. This 176-room hotel was designed by the famous LA-based designer Marcello Pozzi including the furniture that was carefully hand-picked from Italy.

The renowned luxury hotel developers of The Fortuna Hotel Collection greeted InvitedNYC with a private welcoming tour of their breathtaking open-aired rooftop accessible to the public next month. Beyond the scenic tours, visitors were entertained with a live painting activation by Peruvian artist Julio Grandados. This soirée was flowing with bottles of Hendricks, champagne, top shelf liquor, and a 4-piece live band. Guests were able to check out all three F&B options including the lobby bar, full service Pan-Latin restaurant, Paloma at Hotel Hendricks, and both penthouse level bars where the clear night allowed for exquisite uninterrupted views of the Empire State Building straight downtown to the World Trade Center.

Being a native New Yorker, I can assure you that the views that are provided by the top of Hotel Hendricks are unparalleled to anything in the area. One can argue that it is all in the details -- from the Murano glass chandeliers hanging from the ceiling to the 37,000 pennies accenting the two bars, and  even the cherry blossoms spelling out the ‘H’ motif. Hotel Hendricks is welcomed to the hotel scene alongside its sister hotels completing the ‘H’ pattern; Hotel Hugo, Hotel Henri, Hotel Hayden.

Something I am sure of- Hotel Hendricks will not have any occupancy problems considering the high supply of tourism and business travel mixed with stunning yet sophisticated ambiance that Hotel Hendricks offers. It is unarguably impressive that the Fortuna Group is able to consistently produce an ongoing resume of spectacular hospitality.
