The Food

MaryGold’s at Arlo Wynwood

Located on the ground floor of Arlo Wynwood, MaryGold’s by Brad Kilgore is a modern dining space from renowned Chef Brad Kilgore. Open to hotel guests and the public, MaryGold’s is a love letter to Wynwood, highlighting the heart of the artsy district with flavors that pull from the French tradition of the brasserie concept. Just in time for Art Week, Kilgore has refreshed the menu with fall favorites and new culinary creations. MaryGold’s is open for dinner starting at 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday and for happy hour at the bar at 5 p.m.

Blue Ribbon Sushi

Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill stands out in Miami as a lively Japanese eatery and sushi bar. The menu boasts a selection of classic Sushi & Sashimi, along with hot kitchen delights such as Japanese Short Ribs, Oxtail Fried Rice, Salmon Tobanyaki, and the unique and renowned Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken. Situated in the meticulously restored Plymouth Hotel, a historic gem near the Miami Beach Convention Center and across from the Bass Museum, this is a can’t-miss dinner.

The Parties

PatBo Miami

Brazilian fashion plates Patricia Bonaldi and Alessandra Ambrosio have teamed up once again. The latest chapter in their collaboration—which includes a previous co-designed collection and Ambrosio gracing the PatBo runways in the past—sees the supermodel partner with Bonaldi for the PatBo Resort ’24 collection. Launching Dec 4th, the line is inspired by the vibrant style of Miami, where PatBo is set to cut the ribbon on a new boutique later this week in the Design District. In conjunction with the retail venture, the collection is filled with vivid hues, dance floor-ready silhouettes (party in the city where the heat is on, etc.!!), nods to Art Deco influences, and beachy and embellished pieces to boot, which all nod to the fun and vibrant spirit of the coastal city.

Sagamore Brunch

For more than two decades, Sagamore Hotel South Beach has offered the gold standard in the annual Miami Beach Art Week experience, but it’s the hotel’s iconic ART Brunch that really steals the show. This year, the 22nd annual poolside ART Brunch took place on Saturday, December 9. As one of the most sought-after invites of the year, the epic event brings together the who’s who of the art community, welcoming hundreds of industry leaders spanning art, entertainment and social media for an alfresco afternoon of art, food, drink and surprise performances.
