Food Karma Projects is excited to announce that on Saturday, October 4, the CiderFeast™ East Coast Tour lands at Industry City for CiderFeast™ Brooklyn, an all-inclusive festival celebrating the wide world of hard cider.
The CiderFeast™ East Coast Tour builds each stop around local cider producers and the regional foods that pair best with their pours. CiderFeast™ Brooklyn features curated ciders from New York and the surrounding region by long-time favorites and rising star cidermakers. Attendees will discover cider’s complete scope of flavors through conversation with cidermakers and outstanding food pairings from New York chefs, restaurants, and heritage farms.
"New York has a long and storied history with cider, and we’re excited to host such an impressive lineup of cidermakers at CiderFeast™ Brooklyn,” says CiderFeast™ producer and Food Karma Projects founder Jimmy Carbone. “It’s really the perfect way to taste the best in the region and discover cider’s remarkable range, especially when paired with food.”

Even more of cider’s flavors come forward when paired with global flavors like sopes and tacos, skewers and rice from Taste of Surabaya, Chef Mike Lapi’s wild mushrooms, and award-winning hot sauces from Achilles Heat and Coney Island Saucery. Guests can highlight cider’s nuanced tasting notes with spicy kimchi from Goshen Kimchi, heritage farm vegetables, and Cabot grilled cheese sandwiches from the Jimmy’s No. 43 grill. They can also enjoy pairings with donuts from Stone Ridge Orchard and sweet treats from Tipsy Scoop, Tejas Chocolate & Barbecue from Wonder, and MuMsKitchens NYC.
