Secret Summer Aquarius
On Saturday, January 27th, the normally industrial Long Island City was gifted with a bit of glamour through Secret Summer Aquarius, an “Arctic Chic” sustainable seafood and cocktail event.
Hosted at The Foundry LIC, the Aquarius event featured interactive, insta worthy rooms, for their fashion forward, millennial cliente. Guests could play around in a “white room” filled top to bottom with bright white balloons, lounge near the fire pits, dance to tunes spun by a live DJ, and even have a poem written in their honor.
Adding to the glitzy glam of the night were the live shows, including aerialist Sasha Hart, and the High and Mighty Brass Band.
Still, the real star of the night were the drinks dreamed up by Secret Summer’s Mixology team, featuring, among many others, Peruvian Rum, Herradura Tequila, and French Ginger Liqueur.
In addition to the social and environmental benefits, Secret Summer Aquarius also played their philanthropic part by donating a portion of their proceed to the Billion Oyster Project, a charity dedicated to restoring the ecological balance of New York Harbor.
