DAZED Cannabis Grand Opening

DAZED Cannabis Grand Opening

On Thursday, November 9th, Dazed Cannabis, a Black and Veteran-owned legal dispensary, made Union Square blush with its official grand opening VIP bash. Founded by Keshawn Warner, Rich Rainone, and Chris Vianello, Dazed isn’t just a dispensary; it’s a movement, marking a milestone as one of Manhattan’s pioneers in the legal cannabis revolution.

In the words of Keshawn Warner, Co-founder of Dazed Cannabis, "The grand opening of Dazed Union Square is truly a historical moment, and I’m humbled to be leading the charge in this emerging landscape. Dazed transcends a typical dispensary; it’s a nostalgic experience centered on community, education, safe consumption, and most importantly, good vibes."

The grand opening party kicked off in true NYC style, blending music, fashion, entertainment, and culture into an unforgettable night. The event featured sounds from twin DJ duo Angel + Dren, customized lighters by calligrapher Sam Teich, and specially curated gift bags from Dazed. Generous spirits flowed courtesy of Villon Cognac and Belaire Rose, complemented by confections from BCakeNY and bites from Barn Joo.

Stars graced the event, including NFL Player Trey Dean, Puma from Black Ink Crew, Bandit the Rapper, singer Paytra, hip hop legend Cormega, and many more! The celebration overflowed into Union Square, setting the scene for a lit evening.

But the party didn’t stop there! Dazed flung its doors open to the public on Friday, November 10th, at 8 AM, unleashing a day-long celebration with live music, special giveaways, and sweet treats. In a heartfelt gesture, Dazed distributed complimentary lockboxes to the community in partnership with the Administration of Child Services.

Dazed is not just a dispensary; it's a lifestyle. From the Instagram-worthy pink decor to curated playlists, Dazed has meticulously designed every detail to invoke happiness and nostalgia. It stands as a judgment-free zone, fostering a community reminiscent of the early aughts of cannabis- a place for friendships, community, laughter, and love.

Chris Webber, of New York Social Equity Cannabis Investment Fund, emphasized, “Keshawn and his dedicated team at Dazed exemplify entrepreneurship in action, shining a spotlight on the importance of social equity in the cannabis industry. This isn't just about a dispensary; it's about leveling the playing field, creating opportunities, and building a more inclusive and dynamic entrepreneurial landscape."

New York City is in the midst of a cannabis revolution, and Dazed is leading the charge. Join Dazed on the precipice of this cultural shift, blending cannabis, entertainment, art, and music into an elevated dose of lifestyle in the heart of Union Square!
