NSA Noodle Bar
The cuisine at N.S.A. (No Strings Attached) is best described as global fusion. The menu, which varies with the seasons and features appetizers and freshly produced noodles from all over the world, combines unusual flavor combinations with flavors that are more traditionally associated with traditional dishes. The restaurant was able to accommodate a large number of dietary preferences by providing gluten-free and vegetarian options for each and every dish on the menu. The current menu, which is mostly a reflection of the restaurant's leadership and culture, emphasizes Japanese and Italian-American cuisine and was designed to be consumed in a communal setting.
Some of our favorites include Miso Honey Burrata, a Japanese-inspired Japanese-inspired misofrito, Uni Crème Pasta, Squid Ink Tagliatelle, and Truffle-infused Tonkotsu Ramen with house-made Braised Chashu, Parmesan Fettuccine with Seared Japanese Scallops and Seasonal Grilled Shrimp Yuzu Shoyu Chilled Ramen.
Japanese and Italian-inspired cocktails as well as a variety of imported beer and wine are all part of the current seasonal beverage menu.

Old Stove Pub Makes NYC Debut
The renowned restaurant Old Stove Pub has officially opened its doors at 1076 First Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, bringing the classic Hamptons dining mainstay to New York City. Old Stove Pub, which has been a fantastic eating destination in the Hamptons for almost 50 years, is set to become a new hotspot in the neighborhood.
The menu includes, but is not limited to, entrees like their savory prime steaks, succulent rack of lamb, and juicy roasted chicken; the freshest seafood plates like branzino, salmon, scallops, and jumbo shrimp; a raw bar with fresh plump oysters and crisp king crab legs; and delicious sides like their creamed spinach and roasted cauliflower.
In 2022, owner Joseph DeCristofaro triumphantly welcomes Old Stove Pub to New York City, just as the Big Apple is re-establishing itself as the world's eating center. The successful eatery has attracted celebrities, CEOs, families, and first dates, and with good reason.
DeCristofaro has established a friendly ambiance that caters to the needs of the foodie while also acknowledging the value of a great atmosphere. The new Manhattan site features superb steaks and meals that rival the city's greatest steakhouses, as well as a spotless environment with a welcoming dining room and outdoor seating.
DeCristofaro is a restauranteur and a famous real estate developer who was born and reared in Southampton and now lives part-time on the Upper East Side. With a knack for house repair and design, he swiftly assembled a team to breathe new life into the legendary Hamptons cafe, and it was soon better than the original.
DeCristofaro has now brought that same concentration and dedication to Midtown Manhattan, where Old Stove Pub will be a popular hangout for both foodies and locals. With delectable supper meals and lively and family-friendly brunches with live music, the new facility on First Avenue is guaranteed to stand out.
With dinner service running from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm on Tuesday through Sunday, guests can enjoy the steakhouse that carries a Mediterranean flair.
Slate Rooftop Opens
Slate, which has operated in Chelsea since 2000, raised the roof to commemorate its 22nd birthday this month. Slate Rooftop opened in Williamsburg just in time for summer. The Pod Brooklyn Hotel now has Brooklyn's only solar-powered rooftop.
Brooklyn's greenest rooftop bar is this outdoor haven. The rooftop and courtyard beer garden are powered by solar panels that recycle electricity. The rooftop solar panels generate enough energy to power the venue. Solar panels cover approximately 1800 square feet on both sides of the roof.
Guests at the launch celebration were urged to take the lean and green route up to the rooftop to help save even more energy and see some of OG Millie and Colby Rosenthal's spectacular art. From the ground level to the rooftop, the stairwell is an art lover's paradise, with one-of-a-kind works.
Executive Chef Darryl Harmon of Slate Rooftop has devised a menu of shared foods such as Beef Short Rib Birria Tacos, Philly Cheesesteak Empanadas, Korean Spicy Cauliflower, Crispy Mac N' Cheese Bites, and more. There are also artisanal pizzas, salads, and desserts to choose from.
In addition to four rotating beers on tap, Froses are a mainstay on the cocktail menu. The Slate Smash features vodka, aperol, muddled raspberries and mint, lemon juice, and simple syrup; the Jenga Gingersnap features Earl Grey vodka, ginger beer, thyme infused ginger syrup, lime, crystallized ginger, and fresh thyme; and the Queen's Gambit features bourbon, peach puree, honey syrup, lemon juice, peach bitters, a lemon wheel, and rosemary.
The new roof, which is loaded with fun and games, is now open for brunch on weekends and from late afternoon to evening on weekdays. There's also a large, al fresco private event room with a view of the NYC skyline where guests can celebrate important milestones.

Isla New York
Isla pronounced “Eye, Luh” is a secret gem located in the heart of midtown. Situated in the boutique Hendricks hotel, but you certainly shouldn't discount it for that reason. It still feels like its own location with a very intimate dining room and a gorgeous bar that greets you as you step in.
We ordered the oysters, fried quail, and chicken liver mousse starters. Oysters set the tone immediately and were exceptionally fresh and flavorsome. The quail was delicious as well, but the chicken liver mousse was a life changing dish. The explosion of flavors that happens when you bite into the mousse is unexplainable, you just have to try it for yourself. For entrees we ordered seared scallops and roasted chicken. Everything was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. We don't like to dine at the same places, but we'll certainly be back here!
The menu encapsulates Australian style cooking - creative dishes and a seasonally driven dinner menu with excellent cuts of meat paired with bright flavors alongside vegetable focussed dishes. Isla is designed to fit the bill for your morning coffee, a mid-week lunch walk-in, an intimate dinner date or a social gathering spot, providing a convivial eatery boasting healthy, always-fresh, seasonal, high-quality ingredients and dishes, alongside an engaging service.
The food here is magnificent. Presentation and quality matched the setting perfectly. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu but will always be getting the Chicken Liver with Bacon Mouse and the Seared Scallops!
Canary Club
Ideal for a night out with friends or a romantic date, Canary Club’s unexpected decor and entertainment make for a truly unforgettable evening. Inspired by the intoxicating energy of New Orleans, this unique supper club features a variety of live entertainment to go with your meal, including live jazz, funk, soul, disco, plus weekly comedy shows. Located in the heart of New York's Lower East Side at 303 Broome St, make sure you check out this vibrant bi-level spot
Opened in October 2019 by husband and wife duo Ryan Chadwick and Emily Frantz, Canary Club recently updated many of their menu items and cocktails. Canary Club’s menu includes colorful, modern American dishes cooked in a wood-fired oven. Highlights of the menu included perfectly roasted garlic & parsley creole escargot, prepared in the classic French fashion, and hoisin pork belly lettuce wraps. The differing flavor profiles were both equally delicious, a feat not easy to pull off. The crown jewel of the dinner menu was the featured Canary Club Fried Chicken with voodoo spice, crystal hot sauce, and waffle fries.
The signature cocktails were modern and exceptional, with names after the artists and art pieces from the Dada & Surrealist movements. Van Gogh’s Ear fittingly blended absinthe, cognac, grenadine, cachaca, and citrus to create a vivid and bright cocktail reminiscent of the paintings it referenced. The Two Fridas was also one of the recommended signature cocktails, with reposado tequila, mezcal, aperitif wine, thym liqueur, and cassis mixed together for a fiery, statement-making flavor combination that Miss Kahlo herself would certainly enjoy. And by featuring unique zero-proof cocktails, Canary Club ensures that you can partake in the fun even if you’re not drinking.
From the crafted and thoughtful meals and drinks to the handpicked selection of music, this elevated neighborhood bar can’t be missed.

History met luxury at the rooftop club Somewhere Nowhere NYC as Remy Martin’s Louis XIII Cognac was unveiled for a celebratory tasting. Only 0.0000038361% of people worldwide have had the opportunity to taste this unique and rare liquor.
With garden-inspired decor and a magical design, Somewhere Nowhere’s outdoor lounge and open-air rooftop pool gave 360-views of Manhattan’s majestic skyline and provided a truly immersive nightlife experience. The interior featured multiple floors and even an open-air rooftop pool, making it a luxury nightlife destination perfectly designed for the exclusive previewing of limited edition ultra-rare NXIII decanter by LOUIS XIII.
A LOUIS XIII Brand Ambassador hosted the exclusive LOUIS XIII tasting paired with caviar. The tasting explained the blend of the cognac, which is composed of up to 1,200 of the finest and most precious eaux-de-vie from grapes grown in Grande Champagne vineyard in the region of Cognac. This fiery, colorless liquid is poured into century-old Limousin oak casks to mature over the years. Since 1874, the Remy Martin Cellar Masters has set aside the finest Grande Champagne eau-de-vie and used their artistic intuition and craftsmanship to hand-pick different combinations of aged eaux-de-vie set aside by their predecessors to blend in such a way that retains the taste and aromas of LOUIS XIII cognac throughout time.
After admiring how the liquor was housed in a Baccarat crystal decanter marked with the signature fleur de lis insignia, we were led through the process of first eyeing the honeyed amber tones of the cognac and then enjoying a slow sip to fully dissect and appreciate the individual flavors that arose from both the taste and aroma. At the caviar pairing, the richness of the LOUIS XIII mingled with the brininess of the Special Reserve Petrossian Caviar to create an explosion of flavors on the tongue. The experience captured the essence of luxury, and was made all the more opulent by being hosted in Somewhere Nowhere’s extravagant venue.
