The Museum of Arts and Design will kick off their annual LOOT: MAD About Jewelry event on Monday April 20, 2020 at 4:30pm with a VIP Benefit Preview cocktail party featuring an exclusive first look at the artists and their work. Stellene Volandes, Town & Country Editor-In-Chief, will then be honored at a benefit dinner at Robert, the Museum’s top floor restaurant overlooking Central Park.

LOOT: MAD About Jewelry is an annual week-long show and sale of one-of-a-kind contemporary jewelry. For the 20th edition of this event, the Museum of Arts and Design will feature 54 emerging and acclaimed international jewelry artists from eighteen countries.

LOOT: MAD About Jewelry is part of the museum’s season of jewelry. Their celebration of this art form will also include RE:FINE [open May 13-24], a curation of necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and more by The Store at MAD in which guests will have the opportunity to purchase refreshing alternatives to the conventional world of fine jewelry. It will also include 45 Stories in Jewelry: 1947 to Now [through Jan. 24, 2021], an exhibition showcasing jewelry artists who have broken with convention to explore materiality in relation to the body.
