Skinny Louie is continuing its NYC expansion with the opening of its new Upper East Side location on Friday, May 8 at 6:00 PM. To celebrate the debut, the brand will give away 100 free burgers to the first guests in line.

First launched in Wynwood in 2023, Skinny Louie quickly built a following with its smashburgers and block-long lines before expanding across South Florida. In 2025, its “Very Best Burger” earned top honors at both the South Beach and NYC Wine & Food Festival Burger Bash events, including the Pat LaFrieda Judges Award. After making its New York City debut in NoMad last year and opening in the West Village earlier this spring, the brand is now bringing its buzzy burgers to the Upper East Side, with more locations planned across the city later this year, including Penn Station, the East Village, and Park Slope.
