The internationally acclaimed Balloon Museum is making its permanent New York debut this summer with DAYDREAM: AIR BECOMES ART, an immersive exhibition that transforms air into interactive works of contemporary art.

Opening July 15 at the historic Tin Building in the Seaport, the exhibition invites visitors into a dreamlike world of large-scale inflatable installations, immersive environments, and interactive experiences designed to be explored rather than simply observed.

Leading the exhibition is renowned performance artist Marina Abramović's Snowy/Windy/Spring on Planet Z, her first-ever artwork created using air as a primary medium. The installation places visitors inside an otherworldly landscape featuring inflatable grass and swirling artificial snow.

Additional highlights include Martin Creed's Half the Air in a Given Space, a transparent room filled with hundreds of blue balloons; Alex Schweder's Her Joy, a constantly rising and falling mirrored sphere; Karina Smigla-Bobinski's ADA, a helium-filled sculpture covered in charcoal spikes that leaves marks as it moves; and Hyperstudio's Invisible Ballet, a floating choreography of chrome balloons moving throughout the space.

Designed to appeal to both contemporary art enthusiasts and families, DAYDREAM combines playful exploration with internationally recognized artists, creating an experience that is equally engaging for adults and children.

As Balloon Museum establishes its first permanent U.S. flagship in New York City, DAYDREAM marks a new chapter for one of the world's most successful immersive art concepts, bringing together contemporary art, technology, performance, and audience participation under one roof.
