The NY Laughs Festival returns to New York City from June 4–7, 2026, bringing four days of comedy to Lower Manhattan, Union Square, and venues across the city. Presented by The Stand Restaurant & Comedy Club in partnership with NYLaughs and the Union Square Partnership, the festival continues to grow as one of New York City’s largest public comedy celebrations.

The festival kicks off on June 4 with the return of Comedy in the Square, a free outdoor comedy event in Union Square Park that transforms the North Plaza into a concert-style open-air stage. Guests can expect live music, stand-up comedy, food, drinks, and a lively crowd in the heart of downtown Manhattan. After drawing more than 1,000 attendees last year, the event returns with expanded seating, standing room, and production.

This year’s lineup includes Jeff Ross, Dave Attell, Andrew Dice Clay, Mark Normand, Big Jay Oakerson, Rachel Feinstein, Paul Virzi, Matthew Broussard, Emma Willmann, Steve Rannazzisi, Caitlin Peluffo, Usama Siddiquee, and more to be announced.

Performances will take place across venues including The Stand, Irving Plaza, Joe’s Pub, Pier 57, St. Marks Comedy Club, and a special preview of The Stand West, the upcoming Chelsea Market location. New for 2026, the festival also expands with an exclusive media partnership with Funny Or Die.
