The Whitney Museum of American Art’s annual Art Party is back Tuesday, January 27, 2026!
Hosted by the Museum’s Whitney Contemporaries membership group, Art Party is a celebrated cornerstone of New York’s arts and philanthropy calendar. Young patrons, emerging artists, and guests from the worlds of art, fashion, business, philanthropy, and entertainment are invited to sip crafted cocktails, enjoy passed bites, explore the museum's galleries after hours, and dance into the night. This year, bold style takes the spotlight; guests are encouraged to come dressed in their loudest prints and most vibrant patterns and celebrate bold expression in art, style, and sound.
From 8:30PM to midnight, the evening brings together DJ sets by The Dare and Raúl de Nieves, crafted cocktails, passed bites and after-hours gallery access. This year’s Art Party is sponsored by Aesop, Faena, Libertine and Maestro Dobel Tequila, with proceeds benefiting the Whitney’s Independent Study Program and is co-chaired by Martine Gutierrez, Emma Safir, Steven Beltrani, Alexander Hankin and Micaela Erlanger, marking Erlanger’s tenth year supporting the Art Party.
The Dare - whose debut album What’s Wrong With New York? and downtown DJ sets have become fixtures across fashion and nightlife - has previously soundtracked events for Gucci, Celine and Yves Saint Laurent, making his appearance at the Whitney an exciting extension of his presence at the intersection of music, fashion and culture!
